Finance council meets for the first time

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has held the first meeting of the Financial Stability Development Council (FSDC) - a high-level body which has been set up to resolve inter-regulatory coordination issues. The council was of the opinion that country would be able to maintain its present growth level and attain double digit growth.
