UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon recently urged Uzbekistan to stop using forced labor, including children, in cotton fields. The exploitation of children in one of the largest cotton industries in the world is still happening despite efforts to ban the practice. Likewise, millions of children are suffering in regions where there are no basic human rights, despite various organizations' attempts to protect them.
