Este western cuenta la historia de Dan Ballard, respetado ciudadano que vive en el pequeño pueblo de Silver Lode, y que ve su boda interrumpida por cuatro hombres liderados por Ned McCarthy, un viejo conocido que en su día arrestó a Ballard por la muerte de su hermano y por robar una gran cantidad de dinero. El protagonista entonces se las arreglará para terminar con McCarthy al mismo tiempo que intentará demostrar su inocencia.

El film está dirigido por Allan Dwan y cuenta con un reparto formado por John Payne, Lizabeth Scott, Dan Duryea, Dolores Moran, Emile Meyer, Robert Warwick y John Hudson, entre otros.

This western tells the story of Dan Ballard, a respected citizen who lives in the small town of Silver Lode, and who sees his wedding interrupted by four men led by Ned McCarthy, an old acquaintance who once arrested Ballard for the death of his brother and for stealing a large amount of money. The protagonist will then manage to finish McCarthy at the same time that he will try to prove his innocence.
