In a short 3-year career, young guitar prodigy Filippe Dias has already achieved great notoriety as one of the greatest names in today's Brazilian blues scene, also being recognized as an exciting rock guitar player, composer and arranger.

In his debut album 'Borderliner' Filippe showcases both musicianship and arranging talent, not just great taste in guitar work as one would expect from a guitarist's album. After being introduced to a writer's musicless lyrics, the musician adopted them as his own, conceiving elaborate arrangements and music inspired by classic R&B, blues and jazz feels, however in a modern approach that will please both blues and pop enthusiasts.

Produced by Amleto Barboni, 'Borderliner' features some of the best names in the Brazilian blues scene, as well as Austrian organist Raphael Wressnig.

In August, Filippe Dias joins the line up of 7º Festival Blues de Londrina, and is playing all Sundays in Paulista Avenue.
