(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) FIRAS, SAYING:
"We will get our freedom. You have bombed us with tanks, planes, you have brought in the Iranians. You brought in the foul party. We will have our freedom. Even if we die, if our children die, even if we lose everything."

A general who claims he is from the Free Syrian Army said help arrived from France and America.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) FREE SYRIA ARMY GENERAL SAYING:
"French and American assistance has reached us and is with us and God willing we will be able to do this. (REPORTER ASKING: Just to be clear, weapons or something else?) Yes, it has arrived. We now have weapons and anti-aircraft missiles and God willing with all of that, we will defeat Bashar."
Reuters is unable to independently verify his identity or his comment.
As the world dismay grew over the bloodshed, France said the Security Council was working on a new Syria resolution.
It has urged Russia and China not to veto it, as they have previous drafts.
