Fiery fierce fall for Narciso Rodriguez

Actress Claire Danes and Latin pop star Gloria Estefan are among his fans and on the front row of his show.

Estefan is talking about American designer Narciso Rodriguez, who presented his fall 2012 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.

Rodriguez stayed true to his signature style, with asymmetrical hemlines and sleek fits.

But he moved away from his staple black and white and got playful with colors.

"This is the season where we use a lot of color. It's sort of a departure for me because I like to work in black and white normally, silvers, neutrals and accent with color, but this season I wanted to take all those graphic black and whites and do them in a more tonal way."

Most dominant on his runway show was tangerine red.

This color is also the 2012 Color of the Year, according to the Pantone Color Institute and is shaping up as a top trend on designers' Fall runways.

Rodriguez finished his looks with two-toned shoes color-blocking his lady from head to toe.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will wrap up its week-long fashion fiesta on February 16th.
