Ferrari Museum - Michael 50
7 Views • Feb 26, 2019
Description
The exhibition, opened last January 3 on the day of the 50th birthday of the champion, tells of his extraordinary career and his unparalleled record in the history of F1.
The most important Ferrari single-seater among those driven by Schumacher in his eleven years with the Scuderia are reunited in the Hall of Victories: from the F310 of 1996, with which he won three GPs in his first season with the Prancing Horse, to the F399 that conquered the title Builders in 1999 opening an exceptional winning cycle. There is also the F1-2000 of the legendary "Red Dawn", with which Michael won the world title 21 years after Jody Scheckter at Suzuka. Also present were the F2002 and F2004, the record cars, and the 248 F1 of 2006, the car of its 72nd victory, the last one with Ferrari.
The exhibition also reveals a lesser-known side of Schumacher, the developer of road cars. After leaving Formula 1, in fact, the Kerpen champion remained in Ferrari not only as a Scuderia consultant but also to contribute to the development of some road cars, including the 430 Scuderia of 2007 and the Ferrari California of 2008.
"Michael 50" is organized in collaboration with the Keep Fighting Foundation, and joins the other Ferrari Museum exhibitions: "Driven by Enzo" and "Passion and Legend".
