Feeling Inner Peace after Self-Realization

After Self-Realization, I felt inner peace in the event of a death of a family member, that happened before realizing the Self. The wave of emotions came and i realized it was that wave making me emotional and it was the circumstances that were meant to be like that. Neither the emotions nor the people connected to the situation could touch me anymore which was not the case before, and I felt complete peace thereafter.
