Feeding elderly or toothless hamsters

A video tutorial showing how to mash up food for hamsters that can't chew.

My hamsters can chew normally, so I didn't mash it up as much as it could be, but you get a general idea. :) You can make a small batch ahead of time and refrigerate for the day, then reheat in the microwave as needed. NOTE: ALWAYS TEST WITH YOUR FINGER TO MAKE SURE IT'S NOT TOO HOT.

Lastly, you can also feed other options such as plain yogurt, soft cheese, baby food, or applesauce. The more variety the better!
