Fears biodiversity will be lost during population boom

Within 25 years nearly five and a half million people are expected to call south-east Queensland home. As the region grapples with a housing crisis the population boom will put more pressure on suburban areas. And the preservation of biodiversity and heritage on Brisbane’s outskirts will come up against the need for homes and infrastructure.
