Fear the Walking Dead Trailer

AMC has yet to announced a premiere date for their anticipated Walking Dead spinoff, Fear the Walking Dead, but it is confirmed to arrive sometime this summer. And if the latest teaser trailer is any indication, this is going to be one harrowing ride! We're introduced to Frank Dillane's Nick, who appears to be running for his life. But is he trying to escape a zombie apocalypse? Or did he just piss off his local drug dealer?

Fear the Walking Dead is described as a Walking Dead companion series from original Walking Dead comic book and franchise creator Robert Kirkman, who produces alongside Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner David Erickson and produced by AMC Studios. Like its predecessor, Fear the Walking Dead will debut as a 6-episode event series, with Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 already confirmed for 2016. The show is currently shooting in Vancouver, though not much is known beyond the initial set up of the storyline.

Set in Los Angeles, Fear the Walking Dead will follow new characters that include Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as her boyfriend Travis, Frank Dillane as her son Nick and Alycia Debnam Carey as her daughter Alicia. Nick obviously has a lot of problems, as evident in this quick tease. He is quite the contrasting character when compared to his sister Alicia, and prone to finding trouble. Even though it would be an easy guess to say that the mysterious foe chasing him in this latest footage is a zombie, it could be any number of other acquaintances coming to collect a debt.
