FC Bayern player visit Oktoberfest

Bayern Munich's soccer stars were the attraction on Sunday (October 2) when they made their annual outing to the famous beer festival Oktoberfest's Kaefer Wiesenschaenke tent for some much needed team bonding.

Dressed in traditional Lederhosen, the Bayern team posed for pictures at Munich's famous event.

Despite the 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga against Cologne on Saturday (October 1) which ended their perfect start to the league season of five straight wins, Carlo Ancelotti's team were all smiles as the players were joined by their wives and girlfriends at the beer festival.

Bayern's week also included a 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday (September 28), so a chance to unwind at Oktoberfest might have been exactly what the German club needed, although the sports nutritionists may not have been so pleased with the choice of refreshment.
