FAZEER ON TWO TIER TEST SYSTEM

All teams are equal, but some teams are more equal than others.

That might well be the case as cricket analyst Fazeer Mohammed is strongly not in favour of a proposed a two-tier system for Test cricket, which could see the West Indies being demoted to the lower division.

The ICC plans could see India, Australia, England, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand in tier one, with West Indies, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Ireland and Zimbabwe making up the second tier.

Mohammed however insists that all teams should be treated equally.
