Sometimes in Faster Than Light, things really do go your way. Witness the cakewalk that was almost a flawless victory but for a few dicey moments. The Basilisk class Mantis cruiser is almost untouchable despite starting as a sitting duck without any weapons at all. Then again, i would consider Mantis to be the finest weapons.
