Fast-Moving Fire Rips Through DC Suburb Apartment Complex

A fast-moving fire swept through two garden-style apartment buildings at the
Carriage Hill complex in Suitland, Maryland, on December 19, sending two residents to the hospital, according to local fire officials</a>.

One area resident told local media</a> that she saw “people on the second and third floor being tossed off the balcony. Little babies being tossed off the balcony.”
