Fashion clashes with PETA

Fashion and PETA collided on the streets of New York City as designer Victor dE Souza used his new collection to make more than a fashion statement.

The American designer chose to debut his new line in horse drawn carriages, which has become a hot button issue in the city since the election of new Mayor Bill de Blasio, who supports ending the decade long tradition.

Models were met with angry protesters as they arrived and held signs expressing support for the tradition.

dE Souza, who touts Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Madonna as past clients was not present for all the ruckus but fashion fan Denise Butler came out specifically for the show.
