Farmer elated over Emancipation Act

Loreto Bautista, 76-year-old farmer from Calaca town in Batangas, can't contain his emotion after being awarded a title for a land that he has been tilling for 50 years. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday signed the New Agrarian Emancipation Act, which condones all loans, including interests, penalties, and surcharges incurred by agrarian reform beneficiaries.
