It was never planned in the beginning
But time passes and I'm catching feelings
Unexpected love for my best friend
If she knows it what will she say then?

I wonder if it's even okay
Will she leave me or feel the same way?
What if I'm just a best friend still?
Will she fake a love or keep it real?

If things between us change I hope it's for the better
But if she leaves me will she even write letters?
Will I smile again or will I shed a tear?
Will I ever see her again or will she disappear?

If I confess my love will we be the same?
Will she accept it or leave me in shame
Can I face my fear; rejection is possible
Or perhaps I'll be the happiest man in the world
