Description

The Colombian rebel group, the FARC announced last week, that it intends to release the last of its captives, and stop kidnapping for ransom.

For families of ten people currently held, the declaration has provided new hope.

Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo has been speaking to the family of the longest held captive in Colombia.
