Farah Ladiwala - Desires

Human desires have no end
When one is fulfilled out comes a second.
It screams out loud,
it wants to get satified.
The voice of our conscience gets overpowered by its might
All we think of doing is achieving that desire,
even if we know the consequences will be dire.
They seem like violent waves that are hitting the shore,
over which we have no control.
So get hold of your desires before they get hold of you
Learn to master them before they enslave you.
