DOGMEAT DUPLICATION AFTER PATCH 1.3

With the release of the new patch 1.3 for Fallout 4, Bethesda has fixed a lot of glitches, including the original dogmeat duplication glitch. This Glitch allowed you to pick up items on the floor at the same time as dogmeat would, using the fetch request, duplicating the object.

This glitch has been patched by delaying the pickup time for this process. So if you would try to grab the item while dogmeat does his head movement, you won't be able to pick it up anymore.

This delay is not a complete fix for the exploit but it makes the duplication process a bit harder.

NEW METHOD AFTER PATCH 1.3

While this new method needs some time to get used to and won't work for every item reliably like the first exploit, it still is a good way to duplicate. Instead of picking up the item while dogmeat moves his head down, you need to press the grab button (XBOne: A / PS4: X) at the latest possible moment, just before it appears in dogmeat's mouth.

What can make the timing part a little easier is spamming the grab button. Start once dogmeat moves his head down and keep trying to get the timing right.
