Fallen Too Far - Rhapsody

the rain
it washes away all of me
into little pools of mystery
to gather all my thoughts
and then send them spinning
into oblivion.

the sky
it grabs my soul
and launches me towards
the One who awoke my very being.
breathing my songs
and heaving them Upwards

the ground cries
for me to be part of it
leaving me to wonder
what is my home?

the trees stand gently
my protectors in silent tribute
to my King
hold me when i cannot
their sighs are my words
too painful to give voice

in my soul
it cries freedom
to belong to this terra
to know the hand of my Creator
to touch His face
and let the tears fall
