Lock me up and throw away the key
My heart's about to explode from this catastrophe
Oh, father, what have I done?
What haven't I done?
Oh, father, was I not enough?
Or was I nearly too much?
You locked yourself and threw away the key
Now no one is able to find you,
Is that how you wanted it to be?
Oh, father, have I tried too hard?
Haven't I tried too hard?
Oh, father, can't you even see?
See the light that has been given to me?
I've locked you up and thrown away the key
I no longer need it,
You might as well be dead to me
