a dreamer and a poet
well, wouldn't you know it
i got poetry to show it
it's theraputic for me

i'll read it and write
speak out with a mic
finally found my niche
in life
this ain't no jive

gotta do my part
to keep poetry alive
i made a commitment

keep it
i just can't quit it
