</>Hands reach out
And hold too tight
But it’s comfort
It’s what is needed
Fingers threading through hair
While tears finally fall
For ourselves, our family, our friends
Perhaps for the whole world
For needed change that just won’t come
And for hearts that will never beat again
It’s just comfort, for anyone
To have something to hold
When the world just keeps getting darker
When blood keeps falling and all the hearts won’t beat
Such a small comfort indeed
But it’s needed.
