Facebook Defends Anti-Soros Effort

On Wednesday Facebook's top public relations official, Elliot Schrage, insisted that Facebook's move go after liberal financier George Soros, was "completely legitimate." Business Insider reports Schrage characterizes the action as in the interests of transparency and honesty in public debate. Schrage did not address the effort's echoes to longstanding anti-Semitic smears about Soros.
