Ezekiel Valdez - Inside

I say I see you through my eyes
But in my eyes you I do not find
The thought comes to mind,
Maybe I can't see you because I am Blind.

Blinded by what, what is it that it hides?
What Is it in fear of that I might come to find?
Heart pacing, frustrated with blind moments passing by
I close my eyes to clear every thought from my mind

As I open my eyes I am welcome with a surprise
To see a reflection in a mirror that is undoubtedly mines.
Then with this I cant deny
That the one keeping me blind
was nothing else but my mind
And what It feared is what many fear during these times

The fear of one seeing what they might find
when they look to see who they are in the inside.
