Like a virgin to love
I felt a miracle for the first time
As your presence touched my life
You gave my heart joy it never had
And opened my eyes to a new light
Not knowing love isn't just a pretty face
But what that's lock in a heart
I fell as the victim to a lie
False promise of sweet love
Streams of pain! I now bleed
Many years my heart wasn't red.
