Extinction Rebellion protest outside COP26 passes peacefully

Extinction Rebellion protestors at Glasgow’s Squinty Bridge outside COP26

Police where at the scene on the Clyde Arc and closed the bridge which is just yards away from the SEC where world leader have gathered for the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

The protest ended peacefully when the Police opened the bridge and the protesters crossed.

Police sent the public to the nearest bridge to cross the river and no traffic was allowed.
