Explosives used in Costa Concordia

The search for the missing continues on the wreck of the Costa Concordia, off the Italian island of Giglio.
Rescue workers are using explosives to open passageways within the cruise ship, as divers race to find those unaccounted for.
(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) SPOKESMAN OF THE NAVY, ASSESSANDRO BUSONERO, SAYING:
"This morning at 7 o'clock the activities of our Navy divers started. We've had two explosions already in the area of bridge 4 at the rear of the ship about 18 metres under water. These new holes will allow new access to continue the rescue operation."
At least a dozen explosions have been carried out on the half-submerged cruise liner since rescue operations began 10 days ago.
Divers have found 13 bodies, eight of whom have been identified.
The 290-metre-long vessel ran aground on January 13 after sailing unusually close to shore.
It's the largest passenger shipwreck by tonnage ever recorded.
