Description
Philippe Rouja’s official title is Custodian of Historic Wrecks; this means he oversees the hundreds of shipwrecks under Bermuda’s treacherous seas, with some dating back to 1818. A longtime passionate diver and researcher, he ensures the safety and preservation of these historic wrecks and the antiquities found in them. Whenever a tropical storm or hurricane comes through it redistributes the ocean floor. New wrecks are discovered as old wrecks shift, revealing new treasures hidden within.
