Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism partners with CNBC to promote Wonderful Indonesia campaign

The Wonderful Indonesia campaign is set to receive a boost when the Ministry of Tourism announced a partnership with leading global broadcaster of live business and financial news and information, CNBC to engage travelers through social media.

CNBC developed a social media campaign that seeks to boost and sustain excitement and interaction with travelers across multiple digital touchpoints that includes websites, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The campaign is driven by a social media contest, entitled Discover Wonderful Indonesia, that enables Indonesia Tourism to highlight destinations and activities to promote under their existing campaign.

In partnering with CNBC, the Ministry of Tourism also seeks to tap into CNBC’s on-air and digital reach to a wider audience that includes senior corporate executives and business leaders. As part of the partnership, CNBC’s Creative Solutions team was also involved in producing a series of vignettes and digital banners to highlight Indonesia’s attractions.
