over 90 million people. Explore traveled there recently to see the people, the islands and to find out about it’s culture. It is said that if you watch the dancing in a country you will see it’s soul. So we went in search of that soul and found that if you say the words POWERDANCE, Filipinos respond immediately . There is only one POWERDANCE in the Philippines and only one Douglas Nierras. With countless, TV appearances and stages performances Powerdance has a achieved a permanent place in the hearts and souls of the Filipino people. As he prepared for his 20th Anniversary Performance Douglas took the time to sit with me and discuss Powerdance, 20 years of the Art of Dance and the future.
