Experts discuss jobs data

India's unemployment rate has climbed to 7.2 percent in February, hitting the highest level since September 2016. Data from the Centre for Monitoring the Indian Economy (CMIT) shows that the unemployment rate has risen despite a fall in the number of job seekers. Mahesh Vyas, MD and CEO of CMIE and Himanshu, professor of economics at JNU shared their views and outlook.
