Experiment Sends Information Through Light and Water

Maine student Porter Washington has been working to develop a new type of informational wire that uses light and water. His hypothesis is that it’s possible to send information with light through water, instead of metal cables. The goal he tried to achieve in this video was to bend light a full 360 degrees, which was thought to be difficult, but not impossible. Credit: YouTube/Porter Washington
