1979 was when the last VW bus was built in Germany. But the T2 was still being manufactured in Brazil right up to the end of 2013. Stricter safety and emissions regulations brought to an end its long success story. To mark the end of an era, Drive it! journeys to Brazil, where more than 1.12 million T2s rolled off the production line in its lifetime.
