Evolution: my theory of everything

My oil painting on evolution and the idea that nothing happens by chance. Wouldn't it have been far simpler for the universe never to have come into being? Imagine nothing existing forever and ever...imagine how dull that would be! But if nothing existed then nothing would be allowed to comment on the fact... I think evolution works both physically and spiritually, but lately we are being told that everything has come about in a totally random and meaningless way. I think that our universe is miraculous in nature but we are falling into a material trap. Matter is made up of a compex set of forces that no-one really understands.
