If you have not heard of Yo-Kai watch before, it is the new game from Level 5 on the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. It is one of the biggest games in Japan, and has even taken over Pokemon in that territory. In Yo-Kai Watch, you play as Nate who is given a special watch that allows him to see Yo-Kai in the world around him. \r

Wondering what a yokai is exly? Its basically a ghost or supernatural being that cant be seen or detected by anyone (unless they have the yo-kai watch). Every yokai influences the world around them in a different way. For example, Cheeksqueek makes people gassy and fart when he is around them. Another yo-kai might make peoplelazy, while another might make everyone hungry. Each charer has a different background story and trait. \r

Yo-Kai watch is a cartoon on DisneyXD and also a video game on the 3DS. It will also be released as a manga and Hasbro will begin selling Yo-Kai watch toys next year. Level 5 and Nintendo really want this to be a huge franchise in the USA. \r
