Description
If Article 13 of the EU Copyright Directive was law when they posted these, they could very well have been scrubbed by Twitter. This wants tech companies to filter out copyrighted content from uploads and websites via automation.
That'll largely leave algorithms as the judge and jury of what uploads are copyright infringement and what are not. The EU guarantees freedom of expression, but can a bot tell the difference between a rip off and legit fair use of a work?
