Estevan Martin - Everything

Her love for me is so distant
it seems so far, its near.
We say I love you everyday,
Yet it might be out of fear.
I need a friend here with me,
To help shed some light,
For if I do not get one soon,
I might give up this fight.

I walk to pass the time,
The sun beats hard on my head.
I lay asleep at night
sometimes wishing I were dead.

The only thing that keeps me going,
Is the thought of your love,
And how it keeps me warm at night,
Like a leather glove.
