ESPN CHICK - In Over My Head

I'm standing here in over my head
Wondering and waiting if he will ever come back
Hoping and praying that he will
Months has gone by and I still can't get him off my mind

I miss him but I doubt he even knows
Can't stand that he has someone else
I walk around in circles losing my mind
Everywhere I turn his face is all I see

The memories of him and I
Those long talks I still daydream about
I know I will never have him back
He always knew the right things to say

I'm in over my head because he's all I think about
He's all I ever wanted
I'm drowning in all these memories
I used to think he was my hero

Now I'm all alone trying not to cry a thousand tears
I'm just in over my head and he won't ever know
These feelings I had for him I feel like I wasted them
He had me wrapped around his words

He took the pain away
I bet he never knew it
I might as well give up on him
Because there is no need to be in over my head about him
