ESPN CHICK - Another Sleepless Night

Another sleepless night, pain piled up a mile high
I'm lying here just trying not to cry
Those two little scars, I see them and I want more
But I got to be strong and stay away


I promise I'm okay, no need to worry
Fighting this battle for years now
I've learned a lot but I'm still walking through these storms
They don't ever seem to go away

These aches and pains are more real then anyone will ever know
If I would die before tomorrow
I just want everyone to know
These walls were carefully built, I didn't want no one to know how I really felt

I've strive for so long to be the girl I thought I wanted to be
But in reality I was never who I wanted to be
Never thought I'd be this lonely, although I'd love being alone
Pain is bolting from head to toe and all I want to do is scream

If only the silence wasn't too loud
But I know in the end no one would care if I'd scream my lungs out
It's another sleepless night
With the pain piled up so high

The pain is wrapped around me so tight
I can't move, I can barely even breathe
I try not to cry unless I'm alone
I don't want anyone to think I'm weak

I've been through hell and back and I'm stronger than anyone thinks
It's 1 am and it's another sleepless night
I've been tossing and turning wishing my life away
Because this pain doesn't seem to go away, it follows me everywhere I am

The fake smiles I put on
Pretending is all I've ever known
Its just another day with pain
I'll go on covering up my lies and smile like I mean it

These sleepless nights are killing me now
If only I could block this pain but it's more real then you'll ever know
So if it kills me don't cry because I'm better off
I've dealt with it for so long but I'm gonna continue to hide it for as long as I can
