Eslam Shawky - My Dream

What Happened? what happened to the kind heart?
What Happened? what happened to the angel whom i loved?
I thought that she could be mine for all
But now i see my dreams from up they fall
Once i dreamt we flow very high
With only our dreams dancing in the sky
I dreamt that my heart would be her only home
And i would be her only fellow, with my chest as her pillow
I dreamt that i'll beat her fears, that my hand will wipe her tears
But now i wake up to the only truth
That it was all just a dream
Was i that very wrong? , wasn't our love enough strong?
And now i'm sitting all alone
After my dreams are gone
But deep in my heart i know that my dreams are alive
I know that part of me will survive
I know that i won't collapse against the tide of my sadness
And soon i'll find who defeats my loneliness
And it is all one kind of a dream
