Ershad Mazumder - A Poet From A Timid Nation

I am from a very inferior and insignificant
family background
My race and my family never conquered
any land or country
Never plundered any nation.
My race is timid and coward
Their eyes are calm cool and quiet
They do not show red eyes to anybody.

I am a poet from this unknown nation
I ask my creator
To roll down His sky
I shall raise my head to touch
the throne of God
