Ernestine Northover - Who Would Defray

Stuck in a rut,
That's me, and shut
In by routine,
Do you know what I mean!

Boredom's set in,
Life's pretty thin,
What's to be done
When there's no fun!

Just need a break,
Would love to take
A few days away,
But who would defray!

Cos I'm totally broke,
And that is no joke,
So I'm sat here on my butt
Still stuck in a rut!
