ERNEST CLARY - Clary's Grove

Look at the grove
just land and trees
things nature wove
stirring, birds and bee's

what a beautiful sight
nature has spun
shadows paint the ground at night
when the day is done

the hill over there
looks freshly mowed
grass to spare
no one sowed

hear the sound of the fowls
in the distant trees tightly packed
hear the echoes of their howls
from the rock bluffs slightly cracked

evergreens of all sizes o'er yonder
filling the air with scent
in this land of wonder
nature has lent

needles and vines
on the ground
that the whispering pines
and grapes spread around

smell the air so fresh and clean
birds flying everywhere
what a beautiful scene
on a day so fair
