My brains telling me
Just to give up
And stop fighting
That there's nothing to lose
But my heart
Is telling me another story
Saying ther's something out there
That I'm fighting for
That I can't give up
Not now, not ever

I need to know
All the answers
To all my questions
Before I go on any further
Will I ever show the world
Who I truly am
Or how I honestly feel
Will I ever feel true happiness
Or will I just keep playing
This crazy game
Over and over again
Never ending

I'm so scared
That I have no fear
I'm so confused
That I just don't care
I'm so alone
That I hide the true me
No one seems to understand this
They just don't get it
Everyday they're judging me
But they got to ask themselves
Is it truly me
Or some type of shiled
That protects and saves me
From the outsides world
Hurt and pain

Why do I feel so mixed up
Why does my brain just want to give up
While my heart wants to keep pumping
And keep fighting
Even harder than before
Refusing to give up
