I believe I saw your image moving quickly
To hide amongst the shadows along the wall,
Or were my eyes playing tricks on me?
I thought I heard your gentle voice
Singing the words to a familiar song,
Or was it my imagination?
I swore I felt your sweet laughter
Pass by my ear,
Soft as a whisper in the night,
Or was it only wishful thinking?
I know I saw your lovely face
In my dreams,
Bathed in heavenly light,
There is no doubt in my mind
