Erick Sermon (born November 25, 1968) is an American rapper, musician, and record producer.

Sermon is best known as half of late-1980s–1990s hip hop group EPMD and for production work. He was born in Bay Shore, New York, and currently resides in Islandia, New York.

Erick Sermon démarre sa carrière en 1987 au sein du groupe EPMD sous le pseudonyme d'E-Double.

Après une première séparation d'EPMD, il sort son premier album en solo en 1993, intitulé No Pressure, suivi de Double Or Nothing en 1995.

EPMD se reforme en 1997, mais arrête définitivement en 1999. Erick Sermon en profite alors pour reprendre de plus belle sa carrière solo en tant que rappeur et producteur pour Keith Murray, En Vogue, Blackstreet, Redman, entre autres.

Il fait également partie du groupe Def Squad avec Redman et Keith Murray.
