Born in Dublin, Ireland, to a Spanish mother and an Irish father, Eric was exposed to a wide variety of musical influences when growing up; Antonio Carlos Jobim, Hoagy Carmichael, The Mills Brothers and Ella Fitzgerald were but a few of the artists regularly heard on the sound system at home.

After completing an honours degree in Chemistry at University College Dublin, Eric finally succumbed to his true calling by obtaining a Masters in Music from Trinity College Dublin.

With poignant lyrics and enticing melodies, a strong sense of musicianship is immediately apparent. And if that wasn't enough, every instrument heard on these recordings (except for drums) is played by Eric.
